Matthew L. Crawford, 24, of 700 Russell Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 10 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of larceny of property valued more than $250 and larceny from a building brought by Westfield State University police.
Barent W. Pease Jr., 56, of 92 Old State Road, Chester, was ordered to stay away from the named victims and to have no contact with them when he was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 10 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and assault with a dangerous weapon brought by State Police.
Joshua S. Mendez, 24, of 19 Mill Street, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $90, found to be responsible for a charge of sending or receiving electronic messages while operating a motor vehicle and assessed an additional $100.
Dustyn K. Lifgren, 20, of 67 Mayflower Ave., Chicopee, was ordered to remain drug free and be subject to random testing when he submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $95.
Marc L. Brown, 22, of 251 City View Road, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Driver Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $817.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be responsible for a charge of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Brandon M. Matulewski, 25, of 31 Tekoa Road, Montgomery, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of failure to stop for a police officer and negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $300, found to be responsible for a charge of speeding and assessed an additional $100.
Victor Malevanyy, 39, of 10 Sylvan Drive, was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 30 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident brought by Westfield police.
Gregory D. Overdoff, 28, of 24 Oak Brook Manor, Ravena, New York, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Driver Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $817.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of speeding.
Robert G. Chaiton, 20, of 4 York Lane, Franklin, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of trespass brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He paid a $50 assessment and probation fees of $150 before filing a motion for early dismissal of the charge which was allowed by Judge Thomas Estes.
Rachael L. Keating, 26, of no known address in Westfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a July 31 hearing after she was arraigned on two charges of larceny of property valued less than $250 and a charge of improper use of a credit card valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Tasha K. Vachon, 21, of 184 Carrington Road, was released on her personal recognizance pending a July 16 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding in violation of special regulations brought by Westfield police.
Mitchell C. Moraczewski, 43, of 28 Cranston St., was enjoined from abuse of the named victim when he pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $50.
