James W. Rosario, 50, of 266 Essex St., Apt. 101, Holyoke, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny from a building brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a one year term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation until June 14, 2022. He was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,141 and a charge of breaking into a depository was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. In a second case brought against Rosario with an address of 42 Murphy Circle, Westfield, by the Hampden County District Attorney, a charge of possession of an electric stun gun was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth in favor of a plea in the preceding case.
