Jason L. Desormier, 48, of 5 Butternut Road, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 17 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police.
Rachel Johnson, 38, of no fixed address in Springfield, pleaded guilty to charges of shoplifting by asportation, a third or subsequent offense, and larceny of property valued less than $1,200 brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to an eight month term in the house of correction with credit for time served. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Johnson pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 and was sentenced to a seven month term in the house of correction to be served concurrently with the sentence imposed in the previous case. In a third case also brought by Westfield police, Johnson pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 and was sentenced to a seven month term in the house of correction to be served concurrently with the sentence imposed in the first case. In a fourth case also brought by Westfield police, Johnson pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 and was sentenced to a seven month term in the house of correction to be served concurrently with the sentence imposed in the first case. Joaquin Ayala, 22, of 50 Lowell St., Apt. 3, West Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Jan. 9 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, improper operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield brought by Westfield police.
Wilson C. Fuller Jr., 30, of 26 Hampden St., Apt. 1R, Westfield, was released on $2,500 personal surety pending a Jan. 17 hearing after he was arraigned on two charges of vandalizing property and single charges of carrying a loaded firearm without a license and assault on a family or household member brought by Westfield police.
Kwong Nuey, 42, of 4 Carmella Circle, Enfield, Conn., was released on his personal recognizance pending a Feb. 12 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation brought by State Police.
Jason Castro, 45, of 12 Chmura St., Apt. D, Ludlow, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted.
