Malahjia C. Garceau, 22, of 443 Cadwell Drive, Springfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Nov. 16 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failure to stop or yield and failure to wear a seat belt brought by Westfield State University police.

Gary J. Harden, 30, of 63 George St., was released on $1,000 personal surety pending an Oct. 3 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of malicious destruction of property valued less than $1,200 and intimidating a witness brought by Westfield police.

Steven O’Brien, 18, of 1 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Sandwich, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Nov. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor and receiving stolen property valued less than $1,200 brought by Westfield State University police.

Raymond S. Flagg, 20, of 366 Falley Drive, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Nov. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to stop or yield brought by Westfield State University police.

Thomas Lech, 19, of 408 Massasoit Road, Worcester, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Nov. 21 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor and possession of a Class B drug brought by Westfield police.

Carl J. Morin Jr., 37, of 312 Parker St., East Longmeadow, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50, a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor was not prosecuted and he was found to be not responsible for a charge of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Christopher Ervin, 18, of 3 San Rosa Way, Chelmsford, was placed on pretrial probation for the remainder of the calendar year and ordered to remain alcohol free after he was arraigned on a charge of being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor brought by Westfield State University police.
