Joseph M. Blais, 24, of 15 Wildflower Lane, Agawam, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 16 hearing after he was arraigned on two charges of distribution of a Class C drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws brought by Westfield police.
Cory J. Lafreniere, 34, of 24 Hanover St., West Springfield, was found guilty in a bench trial of a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a 30 day term in the house of correction.
Nicholas T. Patty, 29, of 247 Broadway, Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to commit a crime brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a 30-day term in the house of correction to be served concurrently with sentences imposed in two other cases.
Broc Gendron, 34, of 100 Brookwood Drive, Longmeadow, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Jan. 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Tyler J. Fritz, 22, of 84 Plateau Circle, West Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Driver Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $757.76 and his license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a state highway traffic violation were not prosecuted and he was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
David A. Leveille, 57, of 46 Greenacre Lane, Agawam, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Southwick police and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of court costs of $100.
Amanda C. Normandie, 33, of 10 Shore Road, Southwick, saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Southwick police dismissed at the request of the victim when he asserted his marital privilege and refused to testify.
Karen Morassi, 59, of 39 Beach Road, Southwick, was placed on pretrial probation for one year after she was arraigned on charges of obtaining a drug by fraud and conspiracy to violate drug laws brought by Southwick police.
