Steven J. Nikiel, 37, of 8 Connor Ave., was held in lieu of $500 cash bail after he was arraigned on a charge of distribution of a Class A drug brought by Westfield police.
Wayne E. Matthaus, 50, of 16 S. Longyard Road, Southwick, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 12 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (a subsequent offense) and speeding brought by State Police.
Ethel A. Birdsall, 73, of 10 Avery Drive, Montgomery, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Dec. 12 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by State Police.
Amber M. Pike, 26, of 11 Noble Ave., was released on her personal recognizance pending a Dec. 13 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker brought by Westfield police.
Benjamin J. Parker, 26, of 1 Oak St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
Robert Giroux Jr., 49, of 34 Ridgeway Ave., pleaded guilty to a charge of malicious damage to a motor vehicle brought by Westfield Police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $90 and ordered to pay restitution of $190.
Carrie E. Conklin, 26, of 336 Mapleton Ave., Suffield, Conn., was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding in violation of special regulations brought by Westfield police and was assessed $100. Charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker were not prosecuted.
Eric Daniel Sadler, 23, of 28 Brenda Drive, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 20 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor (a subsequent offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, using a motor vehicle without authority, speeding and a marked lanes violation brought by Westfield police.
Steven M. Raskauskas, 18, of 92 Meadow St., pleaded guilty to a charge of willful and malicious damage to a motor vehicle valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for six months. Hew as assessed $50 and ordered to pay restitution of $200.
