Cedric L. Philips, 68, of 15 Monroe St., Apt. E., was released on his own recognizance pending a November 12 hearing after being arraigned on charges of shoplifting by asportation, brought by Westfield police.
Encarnacion Alvarado, 40, of 25/27 Lyndale St., was held in lieu of $300 cash bail pending an October 27 hearing after being arraigned on charges of larceny over $250, brought by Westfield police.
Leah C. Ortiz, 20, of 89 Randolph St., Springfield, had charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license dismissed upon payment of $50 and was found not responsible for speeding, brought by Westfield police.
Jacob K. Devine, 25, of 18 Line St. Southampton, received one year probation, ordered to pay $65 per month while on probation, fined $707, ordered to attend a drug/alcohol education program and received a 45-day loss of license after charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol were continued without finding, brought by Russell State Police.
