Anthony M. Broden, 35, of 44 River St., Agawam, was found to have violated probation imposed Sept. 25, 2018, when he submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of distribution of a Class A drug brought by Westfield police. He was found to be guilty of the charge, his probation was revoked and he was sentenced to a three month term in the house of correction.
Mark G. Simons, 58, of 43 Elm St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 25 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years-of-age or older brought by Westfield police.
Tyler R. Paton, 23, of 17 Bates Road, Westfield, saw a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by Westfield State University police dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
Jamie S. Holmes, 37, of 14A. Depot St., Southwick, saw a charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration brought by Southwick police dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. He was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Norman D. Parent, 60, of 28 Avery St., Montgomery, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 25 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor (a third or subsequent offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Westfield police.
Craig A. Daniels, 56, of 65 Hubbard St., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of resisting arrest brought by Westfield police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $50 and charges of assault and battery on a family or household member and intimidating a witness were dismissed when the alleged victim asserted her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify.
