Austin H. Wise, 21, of 16 Colebrook River Road, Tolland, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 14 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Damond Mohown-Fee, 41, of 101 Washington St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of a Class E drug and a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended as an habitual traffic offender and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a third charge of possession of a Class E drug were not prosecuted. In a second case brought by Westfield police, Mohown-Fee saw charges of assault and battery on a family or household member, assault and battery on a pregnant victim and strangulation or suffocation of a pregnant victim dismissed when the named victim asserted her Fifth Amendment privilege and refused to testify.
James J. Rowell, 63, of 57 Orange St., Westfield, saw a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle dismissed by the court and was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Terrance M. Gorenc, 31, of 86 Bungalow St., Southwick, was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 30 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of possession of a Class A drug, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification Card and marked lanes violation brought by Southwick police.
Victor M. Rosado, 35, of 39 Maynard St., Apt. 2L, Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a 60 day term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for six months. He was assessed $50. He was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit and was assessed $105.
Danielle L. Roberts, 34, of 15 Mechanic St., 1st Flr. Rear, Westfield, saw charges of assault and battery on family or household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon dismissed without prejudice after the named victim asserted his Fifth Amendment privilege and refused to testify.
Ramon Gonzalez Jr., 38, of 15 Leonard St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 21 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of breaking and entering a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and two charges of larceny from a building brought by Westfield police.
Eric D. Sadler, 28, of 28 Breda Drive, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Sept. 24 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Angel L. Santiago, 30, of 77 Dunmoreland St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to charges of resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer and was sentenced to a two year term in the house of correction with six months to be served direct (with credit for time served awaiting trial) and the balance suspended with probation until July 23, 2021. A charge of disorderly conduct was not prosecuted.
Deanna Collazo, 44, of 3 Jefferson St., Westfield, saw charges of assault and battery on family or household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon dismissed without prejudice after the named victim asserted his Fifth Amendment privilege and refused to testify.
