Michael A. Hannah, 57, of 5 S. Longyard Road, Apt. C3, Southwick, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Southwick police, and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months.
Charges of assault and battery on a family or household member and malicious destruction of property valued less than $1,200 brought against Mark A. Nikiel, 47, of 51 Hamilton St., Springfield, by Westfield police were dismissed at the request of the commonwealth. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Nikiel pleaded guilty to as charge of assault and battery on a family or household member and was sentenced to a nine-month term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation until April 7, 2022. Elizabeth R. Crevier, 19, of 59 Orange St., 2nd Floor, Westfield, was placed on pre-trial probation until April 7, 2022, after she was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.
