Gary M. Beach, 51, of 30 Rosedell Drive, Westfield, was held in lieu of $50 cash bail pending a May 3 hearing after he was arraigned a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Edwin B. Fredette, 29, of 22 Rogers Ave., Westfield, saw charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation dismissed when Judge William Rota allowed a motion for diversion and dismissal as permitted by the Valor Act.
Stuart J. Marsh, 26, of 19 Williams St., Chester, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 27 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on a family or household member, malicious destruction of property valued less than $250 and disturbing the peace brought by State Police.
