Edgar Delvalle, 39, of 61 Chestnut St., Chicopee, was held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail pending an Aug. 30 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of enticing a child younger than 16 years-of-age, withholding evidence for a criminal proceeding, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest brought by Westfield police. Brianne E. Barra, 18, of 116 Montgomery St., Westfield, saw charges of rape of a child, paying for sexual conduct with a child younger than 18 years-of-age, inducing a minor to prostitution and deriving support from child prostitution brought by Westfield police not prosecuted. Steven R. Plankey Jr., 25, of 125 Pembroke St. Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Oct. 3 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of shoplifting by asportation and three charges of possession of a Class E drug brought by Westfield police.
