Tiairra T. King, 28, of 10 Lindsay Road, Springfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. She was assessed $300 and found to be not responsible for charges of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield and speeding in violation of special regulations.
Allen T. Carter, 49, of 151 W. Alvord St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge breaking and entering a vehicle in the nighttime with intent to commit a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a 90-day term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for two years. He was required to make immediate restitution in the amount of $300. He also pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to commit a crime and larceny of property valued less than $1,2000 and was placed on probation for two years. A charge of being a common and notorious thief had previously been not prosecuted.
Thad J. Stoelb, 42, of 19 Lockhouse Road, Apt. 20-3, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 21 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license brought by by Westfield police.
