Shakeen K. Scott, 35, of 65 Colonial Ave., Springfield, was held in lieu $250 cash bail after he was arraigned on two charges of credit card fraud valued less than $1,200 and charges of receiving a stolen credit card and attempting to commit a crime brought by Westfield police.
John R. DiFruscio, 53, of 14 Furrow St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 5 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of threatening to commit a crime brought by Westfield police. In a second case also brought by Westfield police, DiFruscio was was released on $500 personal surety pending a Dec. 5 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of violation of an abuse prevention order, strangulation or suffocation and intimidating a witness.
Michael J. Gibson, 50, of 95 Wood St., Apt. 2, Chicopee, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 12 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of possession of a Class B drug brought by Westfield police.
Michael O. Bruce, 36, of 1039 Berkshire Ave., Indian Orchard, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 4 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police.
Scott A. King, 54, of 1286 Granby Road, Lot 43, Chicopee, was released upon payment of $500 cash bail pending a Dec. 7 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of possession of a Class B drug, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit brought by Westfield police.
Eric C. Silenga, 36, of 92 Susan Drive, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 3 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit brought by Westfield police.
Jose L. Torres, 48, of 82 Lebanon St., Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 5 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of special regulations brought by Westfield police.
Jason Santos, 36, of 14 Lakeview Terrace, Derby, Conn., pleaded guilty to two charges of uttering a counterfeit note and two charges of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to four concurrent one year terms in the house of correction with the time served awaiting trial to be served direct and the balance suspended with probation for one year. Two charges of uttering a counterfeit note, two charges of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 and a charge possession of a counterfeit bill were not prosecuted.
