Michael A. Burns, 52, of 138 Point Grove Road, Southwick, was found to have violated probation imposed Aug. 13, 2020, when charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor (a second offense) and threatening to commit a crime brought by Southwick police were continued without a finding. He was found to be guilty of the charges and sentenced to a 30 day term in the house of correction, with credit for time served.
Rhian Nunes, 20, of 142 Park St., Apt. 3, Bristol, Conn., was held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a May 19 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering a vehicle in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, larceny of property valued less than $1,200 and improper use of a credit card valued less than $1,200 brought by Westfield police, In a second case also brought by Westfield police, Nunes was again held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a May 19 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny of property valued less than $1,200, improper use of a credit card valued less than $1,200 and receiving a stolen motor vehicle. In a third case also brought by Westfield police, Nunes was again held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a May 19 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering a vehicle in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony and larceny of property valued less than $1,200.
Anthony J. Martinez, 23, of 22 Sackett St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 1 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 brought by Westfield police.
Christopher M. Labossiere, 33, of 56 Carew St., Apt. E, South Hadley, was released on his personal recognizance (with pretrial conditions) pending a July 16 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery with serious injury brought by Westfield police.
Eric D. Clendenin, 38, of 385 South Lane, Granville, pleaded guilty to charges of larceny of property valued less than $1,200, breaking and entering in the daytime and possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification Card and was sentenced to three concurrent one year terms in the house of correction with time served awaiting trial to be served directly and the balance to be suspended with probation until April 21, 2022. Charges of larceny of property valued more than $1,200 by a false pretense and possession of a firearm during the commission off a felony were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. In a second case brought by Westfield police, Clendenin pleaded guilty to charges of possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification Card and carrying a dangerous weapon and was placed on probation until April 21, 2022. A charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a subsequent offense, was dismissed the request of the Commonwealth and he was found to be not responsible for a charge of operating motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker.
Alex D. Medina, 29, of 15 Summer St., Apt. 2, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance (with pretrial conditions) pending a July 1 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police.
Michael S. Grabowiec, 35, of 2 Fowler St., Apt. 2, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a June 29 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of breaking and entering a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, larceny of property valued less than $1,200 and larceny of property valued less than $1,200 by a false pretense brought by Westfield police.
