Van O. Gruska, 29, of 186 St.James Ave., Springfield, was held without right to bail pending a July 6 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of rape and unarmed burglary and assault brought by Westfield police. See story in the Friday, May 17, edition of The Westfield News.
Theodore J. Gibbs, 33, of 122 Amherst St., 1st Flr., Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 9 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of leaving the scene of property damage brought by Westfield police.
Brandon I. Heard, 32, of 9 Hanover St., Apt. B, Westfield, saw a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police dismissed when the alleged victim asserted her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify.
Kristina M. Masso, 40, of 305 Main St., Easthampton, was released on her personal recognizance pending a July 9 hearing after she was arraigned on four charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and single charges of assault and battery and assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police.
Qadree M. Hutchins, 24, of 58 Davenport St., 1st Flr., Springfield, was released upon payment of $300 cash bail after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence drugs brought by Westfield police.
