David C. Howard, 45, of 65 Danek Dr., Westfield, received a one-year sentence to House of Corrections suspended with probation for one year, after pleading guilty to two counts assault with a dangerous weapon, originally brought by Westfield Police.
Mark Barnes, 29, 35 Pochassic St., Westfield, had charges of utter counterfeit note, possession of counterfeit notes amended to allege possession of false, forged or counterfeit bills, checks, etc., larceny under $250 by false pretense and attempt to commit crime all continued without a finding until Nov. 17, 2017, charges were originally brought by Westfield Police.
