WESTFIELD – The City of Westfield has announced that a Massachusetts Department of Transportation construction contractor will be working on Cowles Bridge in Westfield reducing travel across the span to one lane.
Construction activity will begin Monday at 7 a.m. and is expected to last several days into the latter part of the week.
A police detail will be present to assist in traffic movement through the area. Drivers are asked to be patient and slow down through the work zone.
Cowles Bridge is the Routes 10 & 202 crossing over Little River by Crane Pond near the intersections of Southwick Road, City View Road, Mill Street and South Maple Street.
