Granville – Cyril V. Maceyka, 92,of Granville, MA 
passed away peacefully in the comfort of family on May 16, 2017. He was born September 3, 1924 to the late Joseph and Theresa Bukowski Maceyka. He served our Country in the Marines during WWII. During which time, he played baseball with Ted Williams. Cy married,Mary “Doris” Brean. He was a self-employed carpenter, homebuilder and mason, building all with the utmost of perfection. One could always find Doris working right alongside Cy. He enjoyed baseball, gardening, ice fishing, hunting, ice hockey and the UCONN Women’s basketball team. Cy was pre-deceased by his wife, of 39 years in 2006, and his siblings Ernie Oresik, Joe, Paul and Emil Maceyka, Elaine Dickinson, Dorothy Babinski, nephews Wayne and Johnny Maceyka. He leaves behind three sisters-in-laws Jennie Maceyka of Granville, MA, Anita Barton and Margaret Brean of Watertown, CT, brother in law Jim Babinski of Westfield, MA along with many nieces and nephews. There will be a burial service at Silver Street Cemetery, Granville,on May 26 at 4:00 PM.
