WESTFIELD – Dale W. Seibert, 64, of Westfield, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield on September 10, 1953 to William H. and Cynthia C. (Karlstrom) Seibert. Dale was raised in Southwick and graduated from Southwick High School. He served in the US Coast Guard from 1972-1976. He moved to Westfield and was employed as Foreman for Tilcon Sand & Gravel in Granby, CT for 25 years retiring in 2011. Dale was an avid gardener and enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He leaves his wife of 44 years; Kathy (Allen) Seibert and his children, Daniel J. Seibert of Potsdam, NY, Sarah Kannas of Glastonbury, CT and Brian Seibert and his wife Erica of Granby, MA. Dale also leaves his father William (Bill) Seibert of Westfield and his siblings Patti Blair (Greg) of Agawam, Terry Troy (Bill) of Somers, CT, Kim Richards (Glen) of South Windsor, CT, Chris Seibert (Pam) of Webster, NY and Holly Cooke (Keith) of Waterville, VT. He also leaves his loving grandchildren Hunter, Dylan, Brooke, Wyatt and Emmett Seibert and Carter and Delaney Kannas. Dale was pre-deceased by his mother, Cynthia in 2017. A calling hour will be held Tuesday, April 17th, noon to 1PM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, with burial with military honors to follow at the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dales’ memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
