Westfield – David W. Matyseck, 68, (1948 – 2016) passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield to the late Edmond and Marjorie (Dustin) Matyseck and graduated from American International College with a Bachelor’s Degree. He was employed by Stanley Home Products in Easthampton for 14 years and retired this year after 19 years as the General Manager for Parts Services International. David enjoyed spending time with his 4 grandsons, going to car shows and driving his 1971 Chevelle “Dixie”. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Sandra A. (Nagorka) Matyseck of Westfield, his loving children, Tracy A. Piper and her husband Jeffrey and Thomas D. Matyseck and his wife Michele, all of Westfield, four brothers, Robert Matyseck and his wife Sandra, Edmond Matyseck and his wife Judith, all of Westfield, Roy Matyseck and his wife Linda of Torrington CT and Marc Matyseck and Denise of Maryland, his cherished grandsons, Dominic, Dustin, Franco and Tyler and his mother-in-law, Helen Nagorka and brother-in-law, Frank Nagorka, Jr. of Lynn, MA. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Matyseck. David’s funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM from the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Rd. Westfield. Burial follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
