WESTFIELD: Diane E. Parenteau, 84, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Westfield to the late Ernest and Violet (Stratton) White on November 1, 1936. Diane was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Westfield. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and Do Re Mi’s. She was very artistic with many quilts and other forms of artwork. Diane spent many years delivering Meals on Wheels.
Diane leaves her children Donna Roberts of Springfield, MA, Laura Dole of Westfield, MA, Diane Souza of Westfield, MA, Stephan Gibeau of New Market, England, Stewart Gibeau of Black Mountain, NC, and her sister June Syriac of Westfield, MA and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life for Diane will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
