WEST SPRINGFIELD – Fall is just around the corner. With that in mind, comes the Big E in West Springfield. Westfield Day is Thursday, September 26, 2013. For their fourth year, the Westfield Council on Aging, Do Re Mi Choir, have been invited back to entertain. They will perform in the New England Center, on stage at 2:00pm.
The group of thirty men and women are directed by Cathy Berry, a retired Westfield music teacher and her twin sister, Camy Crick, is the group’s pianist. It takes a lot of time for these devoted volunteers to present their shows.
The members are volunteers in many areas, but love music. They begin their regular season in September. They perform in nursing homes, hospitals, senior day care centers, senior complexes, as well as other venues. Anyone who enjoys singing and is interested in joining the choir can contact the Westfield COA.
Please stop by the Big E on Westfield Day, and hear this great group entertain at the fair.
