Granville – Donna Parker, joined her parents Bert and Bertha Parker in eternal peace on Tuesday October 11, 2016.
Donna was born in Milo, Maine on November 30, 1947. A resident of Southwick, MA, she grew up and spent most of her adult life in the quaint town of Granville. She graduated from Westfield High School in 1965.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good cross word puzzle. She spent many an afternoon playing cards and challenging her friend Randy to a game of cribbage.
She loved taking quiet Sunday drives, listening to country music, and spending time with her grandchildren Jake and Cole, who she adored.
Donna is survived by her daughter Lynette Parker Avery, her beloved grandsons Jake and Cole Avery and former son in law Marc Avery. Donna is also survived by Donna Caron and her two boys Alex and Dan Caron of New Hampshire.
She will be missed by her longtime friend Marie Falcetti as well as many friends and neighbors.
There will be a Celebration of Life in honor of Donna on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Christ Lutheran Church, 568 College Highway in Southwick, MA at 11:00 am. This will be followed by a gathering at the American Legion Post 338, 46 Powder Mill Rd. Southwick.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Donna Parkers name.
A private burial will be held for the family at a later date.
