WESTFIELD: Doris R. (Buxton) Pennington, 98, (1923-2021) passed away on December 27, at Westfield Gardens. She was born, one of nine children, in Springfield to the late Raymond and Esther (Lily) Buxton. She worked as an assembler for Robinson Reminder for many years, she also worked in housekeeping at Noble Hospital. Doris was a member of the Westfield and Southampton Grange, and loved her “family” at the Westfield Senior Center and the Arbor’s. She enjoyed doing crafts, playing rummikub, cards, but most of all, Bingo and the love of her family.
Sadly she was predeceased by three husbands and a daughter, Darlene M. Coppolo.
She is survived by three children, George L. Duford and his wife Sue of Florida, Carol A. Angell and her husband Gene of Florida and Annette L. Banach and her husband Gerry, who were her caretakers with whom she lived with for many years, her loving sister Alice Preece of Florida, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at 12PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St., Westfield. Visiting hours will precede the service from 11AM – 12 Noon in the funeral home.
