RUSSELL-Dorothy Virginia “Dot” Squires, 91, of Russell, MA died Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, after a courageous battle with a long illness. She was the widow of Albert Squires who passed away in 1975. She leaves behind seven children, Charles, Margaret Tebo, George, Susan Garland, David, Marion Vancour and Lee. Dorothy also leaves 14 grandchildren: Rebecca, Jake, Ray, Jeremy, Roxanna, Joseph, Toni, Peter, Randy, Colby, Dan, Bonny, Robby and Amber, 17 great- grandchildren and 7 great great- grandchildren and will also be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Joan Crockwell and daughter-in-law Anna Squires. She worked for 25 years at Strathmore Paper Company, retiring in 1987. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards at the V.F.W. and watching Matlock and Walker Texas Ranger. The funeral will be Held on Monday October 26th at 12 noon at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield.
