Edna M. (Ku
cefski) Lajeunesse, 86, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 21, 2018. She was born in Westfield to the late William and Edna (Thompson) Kucefski. She worked for many years in customer service for Young and Trusty. Edna enjoyed crafts, ceramics, cooking and baking, watching game shows and the news. Mostly she loved Sunday car rides all over New England with her family, attending outdoor concerts at Stanley Park and dancing. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph A. Lajeunesse in 1996, one daughter, Theresa Lajeunesse in 1981, three of her sons, Thomas Mooney in 2011, David Lajeunesse in 2009 and William Lajeunesse in 2018, her brother William Kucefski and her sister Renee Trusty in 2012. Edna is survived by a son James Lajeunesse of Westfield, two daughters, Patricia Baumgardner of Hudson, FL and Cynthia Fairley of Westfield, her cherished ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held for Edna on Tuesday, July 24th from 4-7PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield with a Funeral Service at 6:45PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 11AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 203 Southampton Rd. Westfield, MA 01089.
