WESTFIELD – Edward E. Potts, Jr., 78, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at home. He was born in Homestead, PA to the late Agnes D. (Dimsa) and Edward E. Potts, Sr. He served his country with the United States Air Force from 1959-1962, being Honorably Discharged at the rank of Airman 2nd Class. Ed was a member of the American Legion Post 124 and was an avid Red Sox fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the casino and concerts. Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife Susan (Radlo) Potts on October 18, 2015 and is survived by his loving children, Steven Potts and his wife Tina of Easthampton, MA, Cheri Gaudette and her husband Don of Chicopee and Donna Quevedo and her husband Tommy of Norway, his eight grandchildren, Patrick, Sarah, Kara, Nathan, Kailey, Nicholas, Amber and Magnus, great grandchildren, Leander, Liam and Blake, his brothers, Anton “John” Potts of PA and John Barnhart of Georgia and his sister, Joyce Willy of PA. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Jessica.
Visiting hours for Ed will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 5-7 PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield. Burial with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 3PM in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam. In lieu of flowers, in honor of Edward E.
