WESTFIELD: Elaine J. (Masciadrelli) Collier, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. She was born in Westfield to the late Louis and Ida (Christofori) Masciadrelli and was a graduate of Westfield Schools. Elaine worked as a bookkeeper for Collier Fence Co. for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church for many years, was a longtime member of Springfield Country Club, she loved traveling to Maine and working in her yard. Elaine loved her family and friends and enjoyed her grandchildren. Elaine was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years William R. Collier, and is survived by her loving children, Paul Collier of Westfield and Sally Ingalls and her husband Scott of Southwick, her caring sisters, Linda Levere and Lois Griffin and her husband Jack, all of Westfield and four cherished grandchildren, Julie Ingalls, William Ingalls, Nathan Collier and Adam Collier. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM from Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
