WESTFIELD – Eleanor (Noree) Cruess, passed away on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at Baystate Hospital.
Noree was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked at Center City Service in Westfield MA for over 10 years alongside Frank Scigulinsky, who started as a friend but became family. In her spare time, Noree loved to go camping and fishing with her family; she also had a love for horses and moose.
Noree was predeceased by her father Thomas Cruess, her mother Eleanor Cruess, both of Chesire CT and her daughter Jessica Howlett of Westfield MA.
Noree leaves behind her daughter Carrie Cruess and husband Jon Lafreniere of Russell MA, her daughter Kendra Gregersen and husband Patrick Gregersen of Blandford MA, her son-in-law Matthew Bittlingmeier of Westfield MA and eight grandchildren: Zoe Oddi, Dakota Cruess, Damon Bernardi, Connor Bittlingmeier, Lilianna Bittlingmeier, Aden Carroll, Collin Cruess, and Gavin Gregersen.
A celebration of life will take place at The Elks, 56 Franklin Street, Westfield, MA from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. on January 27th, 2024.
