MECHANICVILLE, NY: Elijah W. Churchill, 42, passed away at home on May 27, 2015 in Mechanicville, NY. He was born in Westfield to William A. Churchill and the late Patricia L. (Hungerford) Churchill. He was a graduate of Westfield High School, Holyoke Community College, Phi Beta Kappa, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and attended Maria College in Albany. Elijah worked as a Mental Health Counselor at Brightside in West Springfield for 12 years and for Four Winds in Saratoga for the past 10 years. He was also an ordained minister and performed several weddings. Elijah was an avid Phish fan and music enthusiast. He leaves his beloved wife, Erin K. (Sullivan) Churchill of Mechanicville, NY, his nieces who he adored and cared for Shannon and Kayleigh Sullivan of Mechanicville, NY, his father William Churchill of Saco, ME, his brother Nathan Churchill and sister Jessica Churchill, both of Saco, his grandmother, Joanne Metzler of Wilbraham, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
