WESTFIELD: Elinor D. Marcoullier-Hoar, 80, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2015 at Governor’s Center. She was born in Westfield to the late Ralph P. and Beatrice J. (Gamache) Marcoullier and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Westfield. In 1949 she participated and won a Horace Heidt Youth Talent Show in Westfield for being a superb vocalist. Elinor was employed as the asst. clerk in the Westfield City Clerk’s Office for many years and retired from St Paul Insurance Co as a typist.She was predeceased by her 1st husband William K. Hoar in 1987, and her sister Shirley Melo in 2000 and is survived by her four daughters, Eileen E. Jensen and her husband, Raymond of Key West, FL, Kathleen Peace of Ft. Myers, FL, Colleen T. Harper and her fiancée’ Daniel Lent of Westfield and Micheleen M. Hoar and her fiancée Raymond Reed of Westfield, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, a special cousin Janet Cossette, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her family would like to thank the staff at Governor’s Center for the exceptional care given to Elinor. A Memorial Service for Elinor will be held on Monday at 11AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield.
