WESTFIELD – Elizabeth V. (Ramino) Lapitsky, 91, of Westfield died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Hartford, CT on June 18, 1922 the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine ( Boccucci) Ramino and was educated in Hartford schools, moving to Westfield in 1946.Elizabeth was a loving Mother and Nana, and loved her outings with the Sesame Girls. She was the widow of Jacob Lapitsky who died in 2003. Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Donna Drewnowski and her husband Michael of Feeding Hills, and Michelle Drewnowski and her husband Stephen of Dixon, CA; two sisters, Rosemarie Roche of Newington, CT, and Louise Geuser of West Hartford, CT, and two grandchildren, Leah and Amber Drewnowski. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lillian Pierogrossi, Emily Shea, Fred Ramino and Robert Ramino.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service,76 Broad Street, Westfield at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
