WESTFIELD: Emil Wrobleski, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Emil was born on January 12, 1935, in Europe to the late Adolph and Anna (Cerwonicio) Wrobleski. Emil immigrated to the United States in 1954, served in the United States Army, and became a United States citizen in 1970. He was a long-time resident of Westfield and worked for 33 years as a machine technician at Westvaco Envelope. He loved gardening and took pride in his beautiful red roses. Emil loved to dance, sing, and play the organ and was a member of the Springfield Turnverein in Agawam. He was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Westfield and sang in the church choir for many years.
Emil leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Martha (Sawadski) Wrobleski, sisters Edna Schneider and Annegret Wroblewski-Kimball and her husband Scott Kimball, brother Ewald Wrobleski, and three nieces and five nephews. Emil was predeceased by his sister Helga Wrobleski and brother Eric Wrobleski.
A funeral service for Emil will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11 AM in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Westfield followed by burial in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Westfield.
