Etha T. Sullivan

obitmonWESTFIELD – Etha T. (Hughes) Sullivan, 83, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in a local nursing home. She was a former Director of Communications at Noble Hospital in Westfield. Etha was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a former member of the Sons of Erin, both in Westfield. She was an avid bowler and golfer who had been a member of various leagues for both sports. She loved to play cards and was active in pitch leagues. She was a member of the Massachusetts Trooper’s Retirement Association.
Besides her husband, Walter M. Sullivan in 1996, she was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. She leaves three sons; Michael P. of Cumming, GA, Sean S. of Westfield, and Brendan J. of Aurora, CO; six grandchildren, Erin, Adam, Krista, Maureen, Seamus, and Liam, along with eight great-grandchildren.
A mass of christian burial will take place Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett Street with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. from the Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main Street (Route 20), all in Westfield.
