WESTFIELD: Eugeniusz E. Konopko, 81, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Poland on May 1, 1933. He grew up in Poland and worked for 25 years for the National Polish Bank. He has been living here for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Holyoke Community College. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. He leaves his wife Regina (Zawistowski) Konopko, his children Boguslaw, Slawek, Miroslaw and his wife Krystyna all of Westfield and Jaroslaw and his wife Zofia of Ludlow. He also leaves six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his brother Jerzy of Poland. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 am from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Church at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 4-7 pm.
