WESTFIELD – Evelyn J. (Kane) King, 87, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in Noble Hospital. She was born in Granville on February 17, 1926 to the late Harry and Maddie (Hansen) Kane. She was a graduate of Westfield High School and worked at Buxton Wallet Co. for many years retiring in 1986.
Evelyn leaves her husband of 66 years, Roland W. King Sr.; her children, Roland W. King Jr. and his wife Sharon, Christopher F. King and his wife Patricia and Patricia Breton and her husband Robert all of Westfield. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Morton and Harry Kane.
The funeral for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 9:30 a.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 8:00-9:30 a.m.
