BHN The Carson Center to Hold “End the Stigma” Art Show

BHN The Carson Center in Westfield will be holding an “End the Stigma” Art Exhibit, promoting mental health awareness with artwork from BHN program participants and employees, on Friday, May 24, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at BHN The Carson Center – ACCS Suite 025, 77 Mill Street, Westfield. The May art show takes place during Mental Health Awareness Month, and is free and open to the public.

 

The art exhibit, featuring the work of participants and employees of BHN’s Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program, will showcase paintings, photographs and sculptures. The theme of the exhibit is “This is me – End the Stigma.” ACCS is a Department of Mental Health (DMH) program that helps individuals with mental health issues recover by providing clinical and rehabilitative interventions and other services, including peer, family and housing support.
