Devil Dogs will be prowling the Westfield Common for a good cause on Sunday, March 31. The members of the honor society of the Westfield Valley Detachment 141 of the Marine Corps League will be collecting donations for the Shriners Hospital in Springfield from 10 am until 1 pm, weather permitting.

Quabbin Valley Pound 276 of the Military Order of Devil Dogs includes Marine veterans from across western Massachusetts and as far east as Southbridge, according to Pound Keeper Tom Pirnie. It is devoted to helping community organizations help the community, he said.
