Early Summer Events at the Agawam Library Adult Summer Reading Program “A Universe of Stories”

June 24, 2019 @ 8:00 am - August 6, 2019 @ 5:00 pm

The Agawam Library kicks off our 15th Annual Adult Summer Reading Program on June 24! The fun begins at our READLocal author event on Monday, June 24 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and greet ten local authors. Books will be available for purchase and signing and each author will have a few minutes to discuss their latest book. Refreshments will be provided by Partner’s. Information on more summer programming will be available this evening as well.

“A Universe of Stories” is the 2019 Summer Reading theme and we have exciting prizes and events for adults all summer long. Reader’s BINGO is back this summer! Our readers will have the opportunities to win daily and weekly raffle prizes, as well as the grand prize. Winning is as easy as completing a BINGO square. For each square completed, readers will receive a scratch ticket with the chance to win a small prize. Those scratch tickets will then be entered into a raffle for the weekly prizes, $25 gift cards. Completed BINGOs will earn readers a raffle ticket towards the Grand Prize, a $100 Visa gift card. Readers can complete up to 10 BINGOs as there will be two BINGO cards available throughout the summer. BINGO squares and rows MUST be verified by the Reference Desk or the Information Desk staff. Our winning continues until Friday, August 9 at 12:00 p.m.! Don’t forget to pick up a Summer Reading Hat or T-Shirt at the Information Desk. All summer reading apparel is just $10! Below are our early summer programs for adults. We hope to see you this summer!
