As part of this year’s Elder Law Education Project sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association, Attorney Albert Gordon will be at the Westfield Senior Center, 45 Noble Street, to educate listeners about the complicated topic of estate planning. He’ll explain how trusts can benefit you and your family, the difference between a Revocable Trust and an Irrevocable Trust, methods for protecting assets from nursing home costs, and he’ll answer the question, “Is giving my house to my children a good idea or a bad idea?” A Westfield resident, Attorney Gordon concentrates his legal work on helping families protect their assets. He is active with the Massachusetts Bar Association and has contributed to the annual Elder Law Handbook given out each May to help seniors understand the legal issues they face.
