2-5 year olds Have Fun: Southwick Public Library Storytime for 2-5 year olds is on April 16 & 23 at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Room. Hear stories about friends and favorite stories. Make a simple craft and sing a new song. Visit or call the library at 413-569-1221 ext. 4 to join in the fun, or just stop in the day of the event.

Rainforest Reptiles Return: Rainforest Reptile Shows will be at Southwick Public Library on Thursday, April 18 at 1:30 p.m. (school vacation week). Meet a variety of reptiles and amphibians at this interactive family program. This one-hour program will introduce you to the wonderful world of these amazing creatures including snakes, a frog and maybe even an alligator! Learn how many of these fascinating animals have adapted to live in their environment. You will have the opportunity to have a hands-on encounter with at least one of the animals. For more information, visit or call the Children’s Room at 413-569-1221×4.

Easter Craft: Children of all ages are invited to come to the Children’s Room at Southwick Public Library on Thursday, April 18th through Saturday, April 20th to make an Easter wreath. Materials for this craft will be available during regular library hours.

Ransom Poetry Creation Station: In honor of National Poetry Month, we will set up a “Ransom Poetry Station” in the Children’s Room of Southwick Public Library. Kids can make up poems by using cut-out words and sticking them onto a page to make their own original poem. You can leave your poem on display at the library or take it home. Materials will be available the week of April 22-27.

Bedtime Storytime on Children’s Book Week: Children, accompanied by their parents/caregivers, are invited to come to Southwick Public Library’s Children’s Room on Wednesday evening, May 1st at 6:30 p.m. for Bedtime Storytime to celebrate Children’s Book Week. We will read about animals on the move and do an easy craft. There is no registration for this program.
