The December History Chat at the Westfield Athenaeum is “Celebrating the Winter Holidays.” We want to hear from folks what winter holiday traditions they had growing up that have remained meaningful to them. First Thursdays Holiday Concert at the Westfield Athenaeum! Hear a dazzling and heartfelt Solo Piano Concert. Dan Kennedy is an award-winning composer, pianist and recording artist whose music has been lauded across the country for its style and feeling. Classically trained at the Oberlin and New England Conservatories, his sound is a unique balance of energy and stillness. Having performed in 21 states, Dan has had the fortune to work with such artists as Joe Bongiorno, Will Ackerman, Charles Neville, T-Bone Wolk, Steve Holley, David Rose, and Glen Velez. Thursday, December 5 at 1:00 pm in the Lang Auditorium. This is free and open to the public

 

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the biggest Disney fan of them all? Trivia night for all ages at the Westfield Athenaeum. Put together your team and join us on Thursday, December 12 at 6:30 pm. Come for fun, snacks and prizes!
