Ever wonder who your ancestors were or where they came from? You no longer have to travel to the old country to find out! Wayne Weatherwax is a member of the Western Massachusetts Genealogical Society and the New England Historical and Genealogical Society. Beginning on Wednesday, April 24, Wayne will conduct an eight week genealogical course for beginners at the Westfield Senior Center, 45 Noble Street. Classes will be held each Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will learn how to use the internet to find family history, keeping track of findings, verifying research, tracking progress, and using nontraditional sources in Genealogy. The course will be held in the Senior Center Learning Center so participants will have access to the computers. Handouts will be provided at each class.
