The annual Trick or Trot fun run/walk including costume contest will be held at Stanley Park in Westfield on October 20. Get in the Halloween spirit with Special Olympics Massachusetts this season by participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Trick or Trot 5K! Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at Stanley Park in Westfield with the Trail Fun Run and Walk beginning at 10:30 a.m. A BBQ lunch and awards ceremony will follow from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The first 200 runners/walkers to register receive a free Trick or Trot T-shirt! Prizes will be awarded for costumes in the following categories: Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Original Costume, and Best Team Costume. There will also be a family-friendly Trunk or Treat with local law enforcement officers handing out candy from their cruisers. Registration is $35 online ahead of time, $40 day of, and $20 for all students. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes in our community.
