Westfield’s Shortstop Bar & Grill, Tekoa Country Club, and Southwick’s Tucker’s Restaurant will participate in Chefs for Jimmy, an annual fundraising event for the Jimmy Fund presented by Winer Levsky Group of UBS Financial Services Inc. and hosted by the Jimmy Fund Council of Western Massachusetts. Participating restaurants and caterers will create dishes and décor to reflect the evening’s theme, “One night of peace, love, and food.”

Chefs for Jimmy will be held at Chez Josef in Agawam on Friday, January 24, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and will feature tastings of delicious local dishes, an opportunity drawing, a silent auction, and more. Funds raised benefit the Jimmy Fund to support patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

Chefs for Jimmy, now in its 30th year, is hosted in memory of Neal Webber and Stan Winer, two long-time supporters of the Jimmy Fund. Since 1990, Chefs for Jimmy has raised more than $1.8 million for adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber. Tickets are $100 and should be purchased in advance.
