The Russell Council on Aging serves lunch at the Russell Senior Center, 65 Main St., Russell, each Tuesday at noon. Lunch is provided by Highland Valley Elder Services. There is not a fee for lunch, but a $3.00 donation is suggested by Highland Valley. Reservations should be made and meal choice stated, by calling and leaving a message at 862-6205, by the Sunday before. The menu for Tuesday, December 18 is cheeseburger or shepherd’s pie served with steamed corn, whipped potatoes, a dinner roll and tapioca pudding for dessert.
