Parents: Don’t miss “Screenagers” at Gateway

April 30, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Is your teen or tween spending too much time on their phone or computer? Have they been the object of sexting or online conflict? Are they spending more time on digital media and gaming to the exclusion of family, friends and other activities? How would you know for sure? And what should you do about it?

Screenagers, the award-winning film that examines the family and adolescent struggles around social media, video games and academics will be shown in the Gateway Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, April 30 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Co-sponsored by the Hilltown Community Health Center and Gateway Regional School District, this event will show the hour long film, followed by a panel that includes staff from the Hampshire County District Attorney’s Office, MS/HS Assistant Principal Deanna LeBlanc, and senior Grace LeBarron who will speak to this topic and answer questions from parents/guardians.

Those parents needing free childcare are asked to pre-register by contacting Kim Savery ([email protected] or 685-3500) for more information. There is no cost to attend this event at Gateway.
