The Gateway Regional High School choirs are again holding their annual Penny Social on Friday, November 16 with item viewing beginning at 5 p.m., and auction beginning at 6 p.m. This event will be held in the Gateway cafeteria, with plenty of parking out in front of the school.

Penny Socials have been a New England tradition for many years. Patrons purchase sheets of tickets. As auction items are held up, people put in as many of their tickets as they wish and a winning ticket is pulled for each item. There are lots of gift certificates from area businesses. Advance tickets may be purchased at Main Street Styles in Huntington or in the choir room at the school. Four sheets of 25 tickets are available for $1. Special prize tickets will be $1 each, with 6 for $5.00. Tickets will also be available at the door. The event will also feature a holiday bake sale. Everyone is invited to come in and join this fun and exciting event!
