The Pioneer Valley Water Garden and Koi Club will hold its first meeting of the season on Sunday, March 24, from 3-5:00 p.m., at Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street in Springfield. Tom Ricardi of Conway will speak on Birds of Prey. He will feature live birds such as owls and eagles for the children at Shriner’s and the Ronald McDonald House to observe. This free family event is open to members of the pond club, their guests, and families. Interested future pond club members are also invited to attend. Bring a dish to share at the pot luck supper at the conclusion of the talk.
